Ian Hatch, owner/designer at A.S. Designs & Services, gave an awesome presentation with Auston Stewart, software engineer/App developer,  about the creation of their latest project, QuickEventz at Hawaii TechWorks’ Tech Tuesday last night. There was a great turnout and it seemed like there was a large interest in the recently launched website!

QuickEventz is a FREE map-based (GPS technology) web application that allows you to easily enter information about events and happenings in your area.  All in about 60 seconds from start to finish. They’re even working on a mobile App so you can create events from the tip of your finger!

Keep your eyes open for the mobile App (iPhone App Release V1.0 is Scheduled for late September 2013) and check out the website to see if there is anything fun and interesting going on in your neighborhood!
