We recently ran across an advertisement for FIVERR.com, a site that allows you to pay someone $5 to do just about anything from web design to house cleaning. We thought it would be fun to take one of our current clients and see what $5 could get them for a new logo. While we do all of our designs in house and would never actually use someone elseʻs designs as our own, it was fun to be on the other side of the table!

Feed Your Dog or Your Employees with Twitter
As a company that does social media marketing for several businesses we are not new to Twitter. However, some of the things you can actually do with Twitter has thrown us for a loop! For instance, did you know you can use your Twitter account to feed your dog while away at work or out and about? You can also send someone a $5 Starbucks gift card using Twitter, which we think is why Matthew is so adamant about using the platform!

Facebook’s New 2015 Terms & Conditions
The Facebook community has been in uproar since the recent announcement of Facebook’s new Terms and Conditions that will take in effect January 1, 2015. Some of the new updates that have people deleting their Facebook accounts are GPS tracking every user from their mobile devices and sharing users data to third parties from advertising purposes, which by the way they already do now.

New Social Network to Use ONLY Emojis
What does it all mean???
According to Hawaii News Now, there is a new social network and mobile instant messaging app (iOs) for the emoji-savvy called of all things, emojli.
The creators of emojli, Matt Gray and Tom Scott, felt that there was a need for a spam free social network that can potentially cross the language barrier because there is, in fact, no language besides the emojis and they are the only allowable characters.
For those of you not familiar with what an emoji is, check out this article called “5 Things You Need to Know About Emojiʻs.” In the article you can see just how far up the emoji goes, including a petition from the White House for a hotdog emoji!
Would you use an app that used only emojis?
We <3 BaseCamp: 5 Reasons Why!
BasceCamp is a web-based project management software that we use every day to help us stay organized!
We use it for our projects, both old and new! The functionality allows us to not only track what we are doing, but bring in the client to see where progress is being made! We equate using the software to an email chain, with days and possibly months of back and forth, all spread out and organized for everyone without the hassle of remembering who was supposed to do what and when!

Ever wonder who is behind USA Todayʻs Twitter account? What about who (or what) is behind the Wall Street Journalʻs Facebook posts? We did too, until we came across this article that goes deep into what companies like ABC News, CNN, and the Associated Press are doing.
Why NOT to Use an Email Forwarder
Email Forwarders have been used for quite sometime because of their simplicity in setup. A typical email forwarder is ‘yourname@yourdomainname.com’ which then forwards to an existing alternate email address like yourname@gmail.com’.
Recently, Google (gmail) changed its policy regarding email forwarders as they are recieved from the mail servers. Because of this, many mail server’s IP Address (which is the magical land where emails come from) are being blacklisted, especially from accounts that receive a large number of emails.
